Photo library access is used only when a user chooses to import an image of a food label instead of scanning it live. Imported images are processed on-device and are not stored or transmitted. Users can disable photo-library access at any time.

Microphone Access

The microphone is used only for optional voice-based search. Audio is processed on-device and is never recorded, stored, or uploaded. Users can disable microphone access at any time.

Location Access

Allerllama uses location data to automatically detect the user's current country and prioritize the correct regional food-product databases. This helps ensure accurate allergen detection and translation when traveling.

Notifications
